Still Life Render

This is from last semester. I'm busy working on current classwork, so there isn't a ton I can post right away, but I wanted to show off one of my projects I did. I ended up using the scene I modeled in my final project last semester which was a bouncing ball animation. (given I had to switch out the glass centerpiece for some red high-heels in order to cut down the render time for the animation) I have also included the plethora of notes and mockups I made in my sketchbook as well as a few wip/earlier renders. I hope you all enjoy seeing the process and work behind the final piece.

This is the final render that I turned in.

This was an earlier render to test lighting. I hadn't finished all the textures yet at this stage.

This one was a bit further along. I had finished the textures and was messing around with lighting options. This one felt too dark, so I chose the brighter one.

The next few images are all pre-production notes and mockup sketches we were required to show the teacher before starting the project. Once we had approval we were allowed to begin. These are some notes on the lily leaves and stems

Notes on the main attraction of the scene, the glass centerpiece. Focus is mainly on the structure and how I wanted to approach modeling it
