To Pave a Path of Blood
I got the idea to paint this while listening to "A Funeral of Flowers (rain)" from the Fire Emblem Three Houses OST. Rather than painting one of the characters, I just sort of envisioned a melancholy but determined queen, leading an army across a large battlefield. This was the result, I'm proud of how it turned out, especially since I am still not used to drawing environments. It's not the best, but I feel the environment part turned out much better than previous attempts I have made.
The finished piece! I spent a lot of time adjusting colors and lighting to get the dark, rainy, night-time feel I wanted, as well as defining the metal armor more.
